Alfa Giulia / Stelvio Flex Disc For Drive Shaft

Flex disc for the drive shaft of Alfa Romeo Giulia 952 and Stelvio
Many Giulia and Stelvio meanwhile have worn guibos / flex discs which have to be replaced.
The damage is manifested by vibrations while driving, possibly by humming noises from under the car.
Until now the only way to solve the problem was to spend about 2.000,- to 2.800,- EUR for a new complete carbon drive shaft at your Alfa Romeo dealer because Stellantis did not offer the single spare part.
The flex disc is mounted between drive shaft and rear differential (4-cylinder models) respectively between gearbox and drive shaft (6-cylinder Quadrifoglio).

Our flex disc is a reinforced one.

The mounting kit (variant 2) is mandatory because these screws are reduced shaft bolts which may only be used once.
In addition Alfa Romeo mandates the use of four new bolts to remount the rear gearbox support (Q4) respectively four bolts and two nuts for the rear gearbox rubber mounts. We offer these as variant 3 (Q4 / 4WD) and variant 4 (2WD).

Due to the complexity of the work we urgently recommend to have the flex disc exchanged by a professional mechanic! (Check the downloadble mounting instructions at the bottom of this page.)

Variant 1:
- flex disc only
- WITHOUT the necessarily required expansion screws / jackscrews!

Variant 2:
- flex disc
- 9-piece mounting kit (picture 1) to connect the drive shaft to the gearbox flange respectively to the rear differential (Quadrifoglio)

Variant 3 (full kit 4WD):
- flex disc
- 9-piece mounting kit (picture 1) to connect the drive shaft to the gearbox flange
- in addition 4 new bolts for the rear gearbox support (only Q4) (photo 1 and 4)

Variant 4 (full kit 2WD):
- flex disc
- 9-piece mounting kit (picture 1) to connect the drive shaft to the gearbox flange respectively to the rear differential (Quadrifoglio)
- in addition 4 new bolts for the rear gearbox support and
two new nuts for the rubber gearbox mounts (2WD/RWD only) (photo 1 and 5)
