The B16 PSS coilover suspension kit is a height- and damper force adjustable suspension kit which offers a maximum of control and performance, especially when the 147 is driven near the limit.
The B16 PSS offers nine different dampening set-ups which both adjust the compression and the rebound strokes of the shock absorbers. The unique set-up device makes it impossible do disadjust the shock absorbers because compression and rebound strokes are always adjusted together. The adjusting can be done while the suspension remains mounted in the car.

You will have to replace the original rear strut top mounts of your Alfa 147 against the ones of the Alfa 156. The difference between the Alfa 147 and the Alfa 156 strut top mounts is that the 156-ones are rubber-covered which avoids that the B14 strut can rattle when deflected. The strut top mounts can be ordered as option. You may also mount self-made rubber discs betweeen the original Alfa 147 strut top mont and the Bilstein strut instead.

Nevertheless we recommend to replace the front and the rear strut top mounts after a mileage of about 80.000 km / 50.000 mls because they tend to wear.
