1 litre (35.19 fl.oz.) gearbox oil Petronas Tutela Transmission Matryx 75W85
Synthetic-based multigrade lubricant for mechanical transmissions of cars with high thermal stability.
The particular additive technology of Tutela Matryx, combined with the use of synthetic bases, warrants high protection against the formation of scaling,
also under especially harsh operating temperature conditions.
Properties:
- excellent antiwear properties for optimum protection of the mechanical parts under all lubricating conditions and longer component life
- viscosity grading specifically intended to optimise gearbox handling also at low temperatures
- fuel economy characteristics which by attenuating internal system friction allows a reduction of fuel consumption
- compatible with the materials used in seals

Alfa Romeo's recommendation for the following cars:
- 147 GTA
necessary quantity for one oil service about 2,0 litres - 156 2.5 V6 24V and GTA
necessary quantity for one oil service about 2,0 litres - 156 / 166 2.4 JTDM 20V
necessary quantity for one oil service about 3,1 litres - MiTo 1.4 TB 155 bhp, 1.4 TB LPG, 1.3 JTDM (only 90 bhp), various (but not all) 1.6 JTDM
necessary quantity for one oil service about 1,6 - 2,2 litres - MiTo 1.4 TB Multiair 135 bhp 5-speed manual
necessary quantity for one oil service about 2,0 litres - 159 / Brera Spider 939 1.8 MPI, 1.8 TBi, 1.9 JTS 16V, 2.2 JTS 16V, 1.9 JTD(M) 8/16V,
necessary quantity for one oil service about 2,3 litres - 159 / Brera Spider 939 2.0 JTDM - only cars with gearbox F40
Attention there was a second gearbox for the 2.0 JTDM engine for which this oil is not suitable
necessary quantity for one oil service about 2,3 litres - 159 / Brera Spider 939 2.4 JTDM 20V und 3.2 V6 JTS 24V (only manual transmission),
necessary quantity for one oil service about 2,8 litres
Most of the above mentioned cars will no longer need a regular gearbox oil service if you believe Alfa Romeo's maintenance plan.
The gearbox oil which is filled into the gearbox during the production of the car is considered to be a "lifetime filling".
Nevertheless it is recommended to replace the gearbox oil after about every 80.000 km to remove all the abrasion which accrues during normal use.
